Library Services

The National Library of Israel offers a variety of services to the public. Many of these services, such as the use of commercial databases and reference books in the reading rooms, as well as guided tours of the library do not require payment or registration.

 

Along with services offered on the premises, the Digital Library and the Department of Music Website offer thousands of items online, free of charge.

 

Staff librarians are available to answer questions and provide assistance.

  This new Library service enables users to order items online, free of charge, without the need of visiting the Library in person.

  Legal Deposit: The Israel Collection

  In accordance with the Books Law, the Library receives copies of all materials published in Israel, regardless of language, medium, subject, or quality. The Library makes no judgement, ethical or ideological and makes these materials publicly accessible.

  Wireless access is available to Library visitors in all public areas at the Library.
